S.I. Storey Lumber Company is proud of its quality products and its quality assurance programs.

Our customers demand a product they know they can depend on to meet their needs and expectations.

In order to meet those expectations, we subscribe to a third party inspection agency, Timber Productions Inspection, to monitor our grading process as well as our treating process. They are in turn overseen by the American Lumber Standard Committee (ALSC) which governs all grading agencies in the US. With TP's help, we are sure the products we produce and sell are just what our customers order and expect.
S.I. Storey has used the same wood preservative supplier for over 50 years. (We were the oldest Osmose customer in the nation). Osmose, Inc. is now Koppers Performance Chemicals. Although the name of our supplier has changed, the people and preservative products that we, and our customers have known for over half a century have not. We know that Koppers Performance Chemicals will continue to develop and maintain quality products that are effective and safe to use. S.I. Storey has the ability to treat consumer products with NatureWood (CA-C) and industrial or commercial use products with K-33 (CCA-C). www.koppersperformancechemicals.com
We are also proud to be members of the Southeastern Lumber Manufacturers Association, an association of independent lumber manufacturers throughout the fifteen southeastern states. SLMA is a leader among our industry in representing and advocating for the independent lumber and sawmill. www.slma.org
