Company History

Founded in 1920 by Stella and Sike Storey, S.I. Storey Lumber Co., Inc. remains a wholly owned independent family business. Located in the mountains of Northwest Georgia, S.I. Storey is situated between Atlanta and Chattanooga, on the same road as when it was founded.

S.I. Storey has been providing quality building materials throughout its history and boasts of having sold lumber throughout the South and indeed the country. Lumber manufactured by S.I. Storey can be seen in such places as Roosevelt�s Hyde Park in New York, Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Six Flags Great Adventure in Illinois, Reynolds Plantation in Georgia, and other locations.

Stella and Sike Storey based their business on a commitment to their community and their employees as well as to hard work and excellence while striving to provide quality products and quality service to their customers. This same commitment has been carried on through the leadership of their children and their grandchildren who run the business today. It is this commitment to our customers which has earned S.I. Storey its outstanding reputation and assures our customers of quality products and services.
